Skin Texture, Laxity, & Pore Size
As we age, our skin loses collagen, which can cause skin laxity, pores to enlarge and the skin’s texture to become less smooth and radiant.
With aging the skin begins to appear more “droopy” due to loss of collagen and elastin. This “sagginess” can make a person appear older and feel less attractive. Everything heads south as we age.
Large pores and rough skin texture are a concern for many, and may cause extreme self-consciousness. Large pores can be caused by oily skin, aging and exposure to certain environmental elements, among other things. Undesirable skin texture is most often attributed to aging, sun exposure, diet and other factors.
At K2 Restorative Medicine we offer several treatment options to address these concerns and restore a more youthful appearance.
